Contributions for presentation at the Conference have been selected by either (1) consideration of an Individual Abstract of one-page, or (2) inclusion on the basis of an Invited Abstract in an Organized Session or Mini-symposium arranged by a Session Organizer.  A book of the one-page abstracts and a CD of the extended (four-page) abstracts will be available at the time of the Conference.  No full papers will be requested, although authors are encouraged to submit full papers to international journals.  Selected papers may also be published in special issues of international journals after the conference. 

Although the 11 April deadline for submission of extended abstracts and revised one-page abstracts has passed, the following information is retained for archival purposes.

Authors should note that on-line registration and information on accommodations are available -- see the Registration and Accommodations pages on this website.  Note that the block of rooms being held at the conference hotel, The Statler on the Cornell campus, will be held only until 29 April 2008.

Extended Abstracts

Please submit extended abstracts in the form of either .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) or .doc (MS Word) files as e-mail attachments to info@iassiacm2008.us by 11 April 2008.  An MS Word template "IASS-IACM_2008_Extended_Abstract_Template" showing the desired format of extended abstracts can be downloaded here as a .dot file and/or a .doc file.   If you are unable to submit an extended abstract but can still definitely commit to attend the conference and present your contribution, the organizing committee will include your one-page abstract in the proceedings CD.   In this case please be sure to submit a statement of your commitment (info@iassiacm2008.us) -- and also consider submitting a revised/refined one-page abstract prior to 11 April. 

Accepted contributors wishing to revise or update their one-page abstracts that will appear in the printed program at the conference should also submit their revisions by the revised but final deadline of 11 April 2008.  An MS Word template "IASS-IACM_2008_1-Page_Abstract_Template" showing the desired format of one-page abstracts can be downloaded here as a .dot file and/or a .doc file.
