Plenary and parallel sessions will occupy full days on Wednesday through Friday, May 28-30. Eight plenary speakers have been scheduled in four sessions, and an additional twenty-one mini-symposia, each usually with one or more keynote speakers and some consisting of more than one part, will occur within 43 parallel sessions.
A listing of the twenty-one Organized Sessions (Mini-Symposia) alphabetical by Session Organizers is available on this website; and these sessions have been filled by Invited Abstracts as arranged by the Session Organizers plus, in some cases, a few Individual Abstracts directly relevant to the theme of the augmented Mini-Symposia.
Seven additional sessions have been assembled by appropriate grouping of the Individual Abstracts that have been accepted.

The detailed schedule is now available here in terms of four viewable and downloadable .pdf files:
The first is a one-page Technical Program Overview within a calendar format for the three days, Wednesday through Friday, 28-30 May. This overview includes the session designations and the abbreviated names of the sessions. [15 KB]
Second is a three-page Alphabetical Index of Speakers by Session (this index is also appended to the following detailed Program and Schedule). The sessions are designated by three characters: D-n-R, in which D is the day (W, T, or F), n is the time slot (1 to 4), and R is the Room (A to F). [27 KB]
Third is a 13-page (small-print) Compact Schedule that includes the complete list of speakers and session chaires, one time slot per page. This document has a table of contents with hyperlinks to navigate to various pages. [104 KB]
Finally, we present a more detailed Program and Schedule that features the complete list of speakers and session chairs in each of the 47 sessions, one session per page. This document has a table of contents as well as the Alphabetical Index of Speakers. Because this detailed program is 52 pages, it is richly endowed with hyperlinks to facilitate navigation. [327 KB]
The conference social schedule includes an elegant reception buffet (Wednesday evening, May 28), an informal reception and barbecue (Friday evening, May 30), and an optional all-day excursion on Saturday, May 31 to visit one of Ithaca's spectacular gorges and the Corning Museum of Glass. All of these social events are included in the registration fees.
There will also be a rather informal program for accompanying persons, including visits to such campus and community sites as the Johnson Museum of Art, the Cornell Plantations, the Laboratory of Ornithology, the Museum of the Earth, and Finger Lakes wineries. Accompanying persons will also be included in the full social program, including the Saturday excursion. Good walking shoes will be essential!
